New Members

Thinking about joining us?

The choir is always keen to accept into our ranks new members who are capable of singing in tune and are prepared to commit themselves to regular attendance at practices.

The ability to sight read or having previous experience will be useful but are certainly not essential. There are no age limits either.

We rehearse from 7.30pm to 9.30pm every Monday and Thursday in the Nazareth House Primary School hall, Millar Street, Derry. We always have a short break for a cup of tea and a bit of craic at about 8.45pm. Members are expected to attend at least one practice per week.

There is an annual membership subscription, currently £130, which is required to cover our expenses. This is collected by our treasurer over the course of the year in amounts suited to each individual.

So if you live within reasonable commuting distance of Derry and think you might like to join us why don’t you get in touch. We’ll be glad to give you an opportunity to come along and see us on one of our practice nights. You are assured of a hearty welcome from all of us.

For contact details click below. Alternatively, after every Monday and Thursday practice several members meet around 10pm in The Clarendon Bar, Derry, for a bit of craic. So why not join us there for a chat?
